Icebreaker at Pt. Barrow for Hunt Soviet Ship With Four Planes Is to Seek Lost Flyers BARROW, Alaska, Aug. 27.— (AP) — The famous Soviet icebreaker Krassin won through Arctic ice and adverse winds to Barrow today to become the pivot in a search for Pilot Sigismund Levaneffsky. "We must find Levaneffsky," the Krassin's commander said when the icebreaker arrived at this tiny Arctic settlement. Four planes to be used in sweeping ice fields to the north and east for Levaneffsky and his five companions were aboard the Krassin. Gasoline and oil for search planes basing at Barrow were landed. The commander said the Krassin would push as far north as possible into the ice and then swing east and north again, depending on conditions. Fog and clouds hung low over the bleak point and a drizzling rain fell along the Arctic shore. It appeared likely flyers would be grounded from Barrow to Coppermine. N. W. T.
