Air Is Used To Reach Job On Arctic Circle. AIR IS USED TO REACH JOB ON ARCTIC CIRCLE THOMPSON FALLS, Mont.,. June 23.—Sheridan Houghland, nephew of G. A. Preston, Spokane, and former Thompson Falls boy, recently flew 2000 miles to his job. Houghland had been employed in the forest service at Ketchikan, Alaska. A new job opened for him at Nome in a .government store. The ticket to Nome cost $209. His sister, Mrs. Elda Folger, will sail July 2 for Nome, where she will visit with her parents-in-law, who are in business there. Her husband, Chase Folger, will remain at Seattle, as a veterinarian. He graduated in June at Washington State college, Pullman.
