They said they planned to remain in southeastern Alaska until September. Burg raid they would do extensive picture-taking and colored photography work, going as far north as Skagway. Their 31-year-old boat is one in which he went around Cape Horn several years ago, Burg said. The water distance from Seattle is 654 miles.
