Alaskan Turkeys Show Ability As Prospectors. ALASKAN TURKEYS SHOW ABILITY AS PROSPECTORS NOME, Alaska, March 30. (/P) -- Mrs. Percy Ogden, Lac La Hache, today reported finding a gold nugget worth $4.50 in the gizzard of a turkey. A $3.50 nugget was found in another turkey shortly afterward.
