P.) -- Braving 200 miles of the tempestuous icy waters of Bering sea, Tom Peterson of Teller, about 100 miles north of here, saved the life of a Teller woman, it was reported here today. Peterson came here in a small launch to get a doctor for the woman, but as the only doctor in Nome was unable to leave critical cases here, Peterson hurried back alone with instructions and medicine in time to save her life.
