NOME, Alaska, Aug. 4.—(By Associated Press.)—Russian authorities have seized the Nome, a motor ship of this city, and confisoated her cargo, according to word received here today from Anadyr, Siberia. Gus Hendrickson, master and owner; Arnold Castel, engineer, and Sam Magids, charterer of the boat, were arrested, it was stated. Magids had an arrangement with authorities at Moscow which be understood permitted him to trade in Siberia, but reports said that the authorities at Anadyr, which is on the east coast of Asia just south of the: arctic circle, refused to recognize this authority.
