Summary:An Eskimo Named Takpuk Has Discovered A Good-Sized Island. An Eskimo named Takpuk has discovered a good-sized island, north of what was thought to be the farthest north boundary of Alaska. This discovery moves the limit of Uncle Sam's possessions farther up toward the north pole. The island has been named for Mr. Takpuk, which seems' fair. ' Perhaps he will get some of the gold found there; if any should be found, and if England does not convince us that she ought to have the island.
