(/P) —Friends of Captain George H. Wilkins, Australian explorer, who led the Detroit arctic expedition last winter and spring, were advised here tonight that he will soon return north to resume a quest for land in the arctic. Wllkins, who is at Detroit, is to he accompanied to Fairbanks by Carl B. Elelson, an aviator of this place, who piloted one of two planes used by the Detroit expedition. In the first attempt, a flight was mads 150 miles north of Alaska over the arctic "tout sighting land.
