Beer Ship Burns After Explosion. BEER SHIP BURNS AFTER EXPLOSION KETCHIKAN, Alaska, June 6. (/P) —Fire and an explosion wrecked the 104-foot cruiser Alt Heidelberg Wednesday with its cargo of beer, but no lives were lost! The cost was $40,000, but the five persons aboard escaped with their lives.
