(/P)—Eskimos, stirred to excitement by the approaching visit of the Lindberghs, today talked over plans for a real old-fashioned walrus hunt for their entertainment. With, the ice conditions right, they said, and with the visitors able to spend time to see such sport, a hunt similar to those of years ago will be reenacted. The old crude equipment will be brought forth for use. Should such a hunt not be possible, however, a spokesman said, the Eskimos will make presents to the famous aviator and his wife. Plans for other entertainment were nade* today by the few white settlers )f this northernmost Alaskan town. Wild geese, killed in the early spring md kept frozen in ice cellars, are ready to )be popped into ovens on short aotice, housewives said, along with sther Alaskan dainties. At the new Presbyterian manse quarters will be ready for Lindbergh md his wife to stay overnight. The manse has the only bathtub in the village, together with running water piped throughout the house. The water is hauled by dog team for more than n. mile and stored in large tanks.
