Merrill, aviator, who arrived here Monday night from Anchorage. Merrill obtained his information when he landed at McGraih. 200 miles northeast rrf Bethel, to re-fuel. Reports there said that virtually all the residents of Bethel were stricken. Bethel has about 150 inhabitants, mostly Eskimos.
