(/P) —Pilot Harry Blunt, carrying appendicitis-stricken David Looff, 4-year-old son of Henry Looff of Alitak, Kodiak island, landed, here late yesterday, 35 hours after he took off, winning a mercy race during which the plaine covered a round trip of more than 1000 miles through heavy fog and rain. The boy, operated upon at an Anchorage hospital, is reported doing "splendidly."
