THREE AIRPLANES LEAVE THE NORTH ON RETURN TRIP NOME, Alaska Aug. 25.—Three of the four planes n the United States army's Alaska aerial expedition took he air on the return flight to Mineola, N. Y., at 3:30 thls afternoon. The first leg of their trip will take them to Ruby, 300 miles east. Captain St. Clair Street, commander of the expedition. expects to hop off early tomorrow. Captain Street hopped off with his companion aviator, but returned to the field because of slight trouble with his engine.
