(/P) —Jimmie Mattern, Texas flyer whose plan to make a solo flight around the world failed when he crashed in Siberia last month, left here today in a seaplane piloted by Bob Ellis, for Juneau. He was accompanied by members of the relief expedition who flew here from the States to take him Present plans call for Mattern to fly tomorrow to Terrace, B. C, where a plane chartered by the relief expedition waits to lake the relief party to Edmonton. Mattern will solo from there to New York.
