Robbins and Harold S. Jones, Texas aviators, who were forced to abandon a nonstop flight from Seattle to Tokyo near here Thursday, hopped off at 4:40 p. m. (Pacific Standard Time), today on the way to Seattle. The two men plan to make another bid for the $25,000 prize offered for the first nonstop flight between the United States and Japan in about a Jones and Robbins flew in the Forth Worth and James Mattern and Nick Greener, operators of the refueling plane, were in the trimotored refueler.
