reba hurn on tour : home from alaska and ready for colorado conventions. REBA HURN ON TOUR Home From Alaska and Ready for Colorado Conventions. State Senator Reba Hurn returned yesterday from a month in Alaska. Her trip covered many points of interest. She is off Thursday for Denver to attend the annual meeting of the American Bar association. She expressed herself as enthusiastic over the scenic beauty of the Alaska trip and Llewellyn glacier, which, she climbed. She had the boat trip ordi- narily made to Skagway, and then took the White Horse railway trip to Lake Atlin and from there to Llewellyn glacier, a 14 hours' journey. She then went to White Horse by rail and took the Yukon river, boat to Dawson, another boat from Dawson into the arctic circle and Fort Yukon. Fairbanks and Mount Mc- Kinley national park were next visited and then Lake Kenai, and out from Seward back to Seattle. The American Bar association has its meeting July 14 to 16 in Denver, and following this Miss Hurn will attend the convention of Phi Delta Delta, the legal fraternity, at Estes park, and later the annual meeting of the Women Lawyers' association. She is to be a speaker before the state bar association during its annual meeting at Big Four inn, Snohomish county. Following the Colorado conventions she will be in Spokane a day or so, and expects at that time to file for reelection to the state senate, and on her return from the Coast she will take up her campaign for reelection in real earnest.
