(A1)—Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Maglds, fur raisers in Peering, Alaska, were rewarded today for a 6000-mile "mush" to this city. The reward was a judgment of $600 granted by Justice George L. Genung in municipal court. The couple sought to recover the value of a team of 13 huskies and a sled, borrowed , they , they said, by Louis Rotman in February, 1927, and not returned in April as he had promised. Rotman wanted the dog team for a journey to Nenana, they testified, in his capacity of fur buyer for Hirschl and Fretchel of New York. The concern said Rotman had not been authorized to hire the team, but the plaintiffs replied that the firm had displayed photographs of the man and dogs as an advertisement.
