She is Miss Alyce Gustafson, twenty-two-year-old beauty, who yesterday was selected by admiring fellow townspeople as "Miss Petersburg." She will compete for the title of "Miss Alaska" with other fair daughters of the Golden North designated as "Miss Ketchikan." "Miss Wrangell." '-.Miss Juneau," ".Miss Cordova," "Miss Vaidez" and "Miss Nome," all , of whom have been chosen. About forty Seattle girls who hail from Alaska also are competing. "Miss Alaska" will reign over the Alaska-Yukon Pioneers' Exposition to be held at the Civic Auditorium November 29 to December 5.
