Bid Soviet Flier. Hid Soviet Flier NOME, Alaska, March 12. UP)—The Nome Chamber of Commerce wired a request to Washington today that Territorial Delegate Anthony Dimond invite the soviet embassy and the state department to ask Chief Pilot F. B. Fahrig, soviet flyer, to land at Nome on his 12,500-mile first complete circuit of the Arctic. Fahrig, with a crew of five and three passengers, took off from Moscow February 9, landing two days ago at Anadyr, Siberia. Anadyr is about three hours from Nome by air.
