Vincent Widney announced his decision to give up his call at the Congregational church and accept a pastorate in Nome, Alaska. Rev. Widney has been in Monroe for quite a number of years and has been an active participant in matters of public interest. He has also been an ardent booster of recreational activities for boys. For this summer he had plans for two mountain camps. Mr. and Mrs. Widney have relatives in California and in order to visit them had to make the trip rather hurriedly.
