Veteran Alaska Bishop Recalls 40 Years Ago. VETERAN ALASKA BISHOP RECALLS 40 YEARS AGO NEW YORK, Nov. 29. (/P)—The Rt. Rev. Peter Trimble Rowe, veteran bishop of Alaska, will stand at the altar of St. George's church, Stuyvesant square, tomorrow and celebrate the holy communion in remembrance of the day 40 years ago when he stood at the same altar to be consecrated a bishop. Bishop Rowe, who became 79 November 20, will be surrounded by dignitaries of the church and friends, a number of whom served with him in the arctic wilds.
