(/P)— Eskimos, dominating Nome's Fourth of July celebration, today held kayak and oomiak (skin boat) races, wrestling events and a contest to see how high they could kick with both feet. hand for the observance. The temperature remained in the 80's today, after setting an all-time high mark of 8-3.8 degrees yesterday. Residents, rather than picnic on nearby lakes and rivers, stayed in town for a baseball game and other events. A few residents spent $30 each to take a non-stop flight over Cape Siberia and return.
