T., Aug. 17. (/P)— Thirty-seven years ago gold was discovered in the Klondike. Today that event, which started a stampede of thousands of fortune seekers from all parts of the world, was celebrated here by the Yukon Order of Pioneers. Parades, athletic sports and floral, agricultural and mining exhibits and an address by George Black, M. P., speaker of the house of commons, featured the program. A ball tonight in the historic Arctic Brotherhood hall concluded the day's festivities.
