Canadian Hops Off on Coast Hunt FAIRBANKS, Alaska, Aug. 17.— (AP)—A Canadian flyer dashed through murky weather along the Dominion's Arctic coast today in quest of the lost Soviet flyers, at the same time lowering clouds grounded search planes here. Following the old Lindbergh trail of 1931, Bob Randall, Canadian pilot from Edmonton, Alta., sped out of Aklavik, Northwest Territory, today and flew west to Herschel Island and to Demarcation Point—Alaska Canadian boundary. Wireless messages received at Barrow on Alaska's most northerly tip said Randall intended to question natives in hope of finding a clue to Pilot Sigismund Levaneff- sky and his five companions who vanished on a transpolar flight last Friday.
