(/P)--To search the dreary arctic tundras for two airplanes piloted by Noel Wien and Russell Merrill, which left Wiseman May 11 for a proposed round-trip flight to Point Barrow with a Fox Film party, Matt Nieminen, copilot of Merrill in the Anchorage Air Transport company, was preparing today to take off for Point Barrow in a cabin plane, said to be the speediest in Alaska. Ralph Wien, brother to Noel, and a student pilot, was preparing to hop off for Nome with mail, in accordance with a territorial subsidy contract. The course of both planes coincides with that of the missing planes for some distance over a difficult terrain.
