NOME, Alaska, April 1.—Loaded with supplies for planned dog team rescues of 89 Russians marooned on the ice off the Siberian shore, Pilot M. T. Sletneff, flying the second plane of the Russian air expedition basing here, took off shortly after noon for Cape Vankarem, Siberia. The weather was reported clear most of the way, although with overcast skies at the top of Seward peninsula. He was accompanied by Bill Lavery, an assistant mechanic, of Fairbanks. The expedition's first plane, which left here on Thursday,has been forced, down twice on-the way to Cape Vankarem, with Pilot F. A.
