On throne of gold. - Miss Evelyn Curtiss, 3926 Warsaww St., stands on three steel chests containing $800,000 work of gold bullion brought to Seattle from Nome by Alaska Steamship Company's liner Victoria. The vessel brought a total of $1,000,000 worth of the yellow metal produced by mining camps of the Seward Peninsula of Alaska.
