A trip to Alaska has nothing at all on the journey to Logan pass on the Continental divide, according to Frank Guilbert of the Inland Auto association, who has charge of the Spokane delegation which will attend the opening of the fine new Going-to-the-Sun highway Saturday. Those who journey to Glacier park for the celebration had better take along warm clothing. "It will probably be much cooler on the summit of the Continental divide than it is in Spokane," declared Mr. Guilbert. Fine Program Is Scheduled. The program in honor of completion of one of America's most scenic highways will start off with a firefighters' luncheon, followed at 2 p. m. by dedication of the Stephen T. Mather memorial plaque. O. S. Warren, owner of the Great Falls Tribune, will be speaker. The program proper dedicating the highway will start at 3 p. m., with speakers headed by Governor F. H. Cooney of Montana and including W. H. Lynch, district engineer of the U. S. roads bureau, and U. S. Senator B. K. Wheeler of Montana. A colorful event on the program will be the great peace council between Indian tribes, with 200 Indians in full regalia participating. There will be music by the Blackfeet tribal band and songs by a chorus of C. C. C. boys. The Spokane delegation will leave Friday at 7:45 a. m. on the Great Northern.
