Young Portland Men Recruited For Navy. YOUNG PORTLAND MEN RECRUITED FOR NAVY Commander W. C. Faus, in charge of the Portland recruiting station of the United States navy, Thursday reported that his headquarters had completed its enlistment of the October quote of 36 men. Portland recruits include: John Jacob Galloway, 2348 Southeast Tamarac street; Samuel Ellis Cosslett, 2129 Southeast Tenth avenue; Robert Donald Adair, 1835 Southeast Oak street; Stanley Elmer Hunter, 5019 Northeast Fourteenth avenue; Magnus Thorlef Nilsen, 1549 North Blandena street; Arthur McDaniel, 405 Southeast Fifteenth avenue; Howard Carroll Morse, 4619 Northeast Twenty ninth avenue; Robert Edward McKnight, 3232 Northeast Knight street; Jack Albert White, 9641 Southeast Yukon street; Everett Clyde Barbur Jr., 3416 Northeast Forty-ninth avenue; Bernhard Murray Olsen, 5330 Northeast Twenty-fourth avenue; Billy Golden Stansfield, 1230 Southeast Morrison street, and Ernest William Hoberg, 5535 North Interstate avenue.
