SEATTLE, Aug. 1 - The Alaska cannery ship Otsego, damaged when she struck rocks near Cape Mordvinof yesterday, arrived at Dutch Harbor last night, Capt. G. T. Finley of the Bering sea coast guard patrol, informed coast guard offices here today. The coast guard said the extent of her damage was unknown but that she was taking little water forward. Her 500 or more passengers, cannery workers, will be returned south aboard the Alaska Steamship company's liner Victoria, and her 125,000 cases of salmon transferred to another Alaska line boat. Two coast guard cutters, the Ewing and Barnum, were convoying the stricken ship, but ,it proceeded under its own power.
