Captain McClellan Flies South Today. Captain McClellan Flies South Today On the final stage of a 12,000- mile fight that took him from Washington, D. C, to Point Barrow, Alaska, Capt. Hez McClellan will hop off from Boeing Field this morning for San Diego, and then fly East by the southern route. He will be accompanied by Sergeants Lewis Tamason and Henry Kruse, both army pilots, who have been with him throughout the trip. Their plane, a bimotored Douglas Dolphn amphiban, arrived at Boeing Field from Ketchikan late Thursday night. Captain McClellan is stopping at the Frye Hotel.
