SEATTLE-TOKYO FLIGHT DELAYED SEATTLE, July 2. (AP)—A delay of a day or more in starting the proposed non-stop refueling flight of the Port Worth to Tokyo, scheduled for tomorrow morning, loomed today with the refueling ship still at Edmonton on its flight to Alaska. Until the refueling craft, which was set down at the Alberta city at 6:20 p.m., M. S. T. (5:20 p.m., P. S. T.) last night, reaches Fairbanks, Reg. L. Robbins and H. S. Jones, Texas aviators bent on the crossing to Tokyo, plan to remain here. The refueling ship fliers, J. J. Mattern, San Antonio, Tex., and Nick Greener, spent time checking their engine and plane last night at Edmonton and said they did not expect to take off for Fairbanks until tomorrow. Mattern and Greener are flying a special tri-motored plane to be use$ as a refueling ship. They plan to head directly across the mountains of the Yukon territory from here for Fairbanks, where they plan to make the first refueling contact with the "Fort Worth."
