State to Auction Off Lands Today OLYMPIA, April 5. - (AP) - State-owned timber land and tide lands valued at approximately $175,000 will go "under the hammer" in twenty-one counties tomorrow, Land Commissioner A. C. Martin said today. The public auctions will be held in the county seats. Counties in which the auctions will be held are: Benton, Clark, Cowlitz, Grant, Island, King, Kitsap, Kittitas, Klickitat, Lewis, Mason, Okanogan, Pacific, Pend Oreille, Pierce, Skagit, Snohomish, Stevens, Thurston, Whatcom, and Yakima.
