Chicken Cullings Well Attended. MEN CULLINGS WELL ATTENDED That this community is taking a keen interest in the poultry business was evidenced Irhen attendance records were checked up for the three; meetings held last Thursday by W. D. Buchanan, poultry specialist from the State College. At the forenoon meeting at the A. M. Haylett pens—34 were present. At the Linn ranch in the afternoon, 42 turned out and in the evening there were 45 out for lecture at the Club House. On all demonstrations Mr. Buchanan took pains to point out the facts which guided his judgment and those present received some very valuable information in a practical way from these talks. At the Haylete culling, Mr. Haylett who keeps a record of each and every hen checked up on the cullings and found his figures were confirmed by Mr. Buchanan In every instance. For the benefit of those who were unable to attend any of these sessions, some of the pointers for judging producers and non producers in the flock, as compiled by the Extension service of the State College, are printed on another page in this week's Herald.
