| Summary: | Alaskan Forests Fully Populated, Census Discloses Alaskan Forests Fully Populated, Census Discloses KETCHIKAN, Alaska, Feb. 25 (AP)— The regional office of the Alaska forest service, in its annual report, said approximately 70,000 head of big game, including moose, elk, sheep, mountain goat, deer and grizzly bear, inhabit the Alaska forest service region. The report said about 6200 black grizzly and 4500 brown grizzly bear roam the region. The census said hundreds of wild dogs inhabit the Tongrass forest sector, in southeastern Alaska near Dixion entrance. Blue foxes have escaped from several fox farms and have established themselves in a wild state in many sections of the territory, the report said.
