(AP)— Unless steps are taken to protect ducks and geese in Alaska they are doomed, Ben Ferrien, Des Moines naturalist, declared today upon his arrival in Seward from a 2000-mile trip through Alaska and the Yukon territory by canoe and on foot. Ferrier, who has been studying game for the last 16 years, declared he noted a tremendous depletion in the last two years.
