(AP)—A brown bear charged John Barrymore, stage and screen actor, while he was taking moving pictures of the animal two weeks ago on Lisianksi beach, Kodiak island, it was learned here Monday, but the star stopped the brute with two shots fired at a distance of about 25 yards. One hit the brownie in the neck and the other in the chest, killing him instantly. Barrymore will take the pelt home to California.
