Summary:U.S. Senators In Alaska U. S. SENATORS IN ALASKA Three Undertake Study of Government Railroad. JUNEAU, Alaska, Aug. 16. (AP)— The destroyers Perry and Was*muth, with Senators R. B. Howell, Nebraska; John B. Kendrick, Wyoming, and John Thomas, Idaho, and Chairman Frank McManamy of the interstate commerce commission aboard, arrived here early today. The party will make a study ot the Alaska railroad. They were taken over the Glacier highway to Mendenhall glacier and visited mink fur farms this morning and honored at a banquet by the chamber of commerce at noon. Later today they were to leave for Skagway.
