Summary: | Alaska Areas To Be Surveyed For Farm Sites Alaska Areas To Be Surveyed For Farm Sites ANCHORAGE, Alaska, Saturday, April 3.—UP)—A federal survey party of thirty-two men with fifteen horses will leave by chartered boat in a few days to survey between Kenai and Kasilof, on Cook Inlet, preparatory to opening the district to homesteaders. The party will be headed by F. G. Betts, cadastral engineer, and L. M. Berlin, surveyor. They said today they plan to complete the survey by July 1, Berlin then taking part of the crew to make surveys in the Kuskokwim, Yukon, Kotzebue, Kobuk and Point Barrow regions, and Betts heading a party making surveys of farm lands in the railroad belt near Fairbanks and Nenana.
