Steamship officials found liquor, tobacco, wood pipe casing and baggage damaged in the No. 2 hold, where fire broke out earlv yesterday. Passengers who came ashore here said there was no confusion when the vessel was afire and rolling in heavy seas. Frank Olmsted, twenty, University of Washington student, admitting he was "a little scared," said some passengers were "so seasick they didn't want to get up even The Cordova, with 3 04 passengers and a crew of forty-eight, was convoyed here by the coast guard patrol boat Alert.
