There are three main routes of travel in Alaska
(1) Via Dyea - Skaguay and Chilcoot pass. Down the Canadian lakes, Lindeman and Bennett thru Whitehorse, Lake LaBarge and Lewis R to upper Yukon. The route of the Pioneers and Klondyke stampeeders. Now supplied by the White Pass and Yukon Railway. This is the main summer route to the Canadian Yukon.
