Summary: | he artide discusses the roles of teacher assistants in the discourse of support to a learner. The analysis of teacher assistants' reflections of their own activities revealed four areas of activities, where efforts of teacher assistants are concentrated to enable successful education of special needs learners: educational support, physical assistance, psychological support, and social support.
