The COQUITLAM was converted to a cruise liner in 1947 with 100 first class accomodations, dancing, movies, and other entertainment. She was originally the HMCS LEASIDE, a Royal Navy corvette (p. 540). She was sold by Union Steamships Ltd. to C.B. West of Alaska Cruise Lines in 1958 and renamed the GLACIER QUEEN (p. 626).
