So much timber was destroyed that the storm was called "The Great Blowdown." Destruction was heaviest in the west end of Clallam County. The photographs in this collection were likely taken March 22-24, 1921 between the towns of Beaver and Mora, Washington during Governor Louis Hart's tour of the area with state and county officials.
