Summary: | Lawyer and entrepreneur. President, Kitsap County Telephone Company PH Coll 512.3.11 C.J. Farmer was a native of Ashtabula, Ohio, born July 29, 1864, He took up the study of law, graduating from the University of Wisconsin in 1887. Mr. Farmer removed to the state of Washington, settling at Port Angeles in May, 1902. He purchased the salmon cannery at that place and organized the Manhattan Packing Company.
