He studied pharmacy at the New York College of Pharmacy, and in 1907 moved to Alaska, Mrs. Loussac discusses her husband's family life in Moscow; his career as a pharmacist in Iditarod, Juneau, and Anchorage, Alaska; and Loussac Foundation - an organization established by Mr. Loussac to found a public library for Anchorage. The interview also includes an account of Mr. Loussac's U.S.O. work during W.W.II, especially for Jewish soldiers; and activities of other Jewish families in Anchorage; and a description of the construction of the Alaska railroad. This accession is part of the Washington State Jewish Archives.
