Case Kasaan is located on Kasaan Bay on southwest coast of Kasaan Peninsula, Prince of Wales Island, Alexander Archipelago. The village was established in the 1890s when a salmon-packing plant was located here. Haida Indians from Kasaan, now Old Kasaan, relocated here. The post office, established in 1900, was named for the old village. The population was 47 in 1950.
