The FORTUNA was built at the Anderson shipyard in Houghton on Lake Washington for use as an excursion steamer during the 1909 Alaska-Yukon-Pacific-Exposition. The FORTUNA is shown here during the A-Y-P Fair. The steamer later became part of the ferry system serving Lake Washington.
