Summary:The Alaskan Cafe was located at 501 Third Avenue at Jefferson Street, in the Morrison Hotel. The Hotel originally housed the Arctic Club, a popular social club for men who had struck it rich in the Klondike Gold Rush. The Alaska Cafe and Alaska Cigar Store did business on the ground floor beginning around 1910, underneath a stained glass mural of a dog sled team, illustrated in the center of this label. The original stained glass is now held by the Museum of History & Industry and, as of 2015, is on display at the Museum. 1 label; 2.75 x 4 in.
