Olav V was the King of Norway from 1957 to 1991. He visited Seattle several times, including in 1975 to celebrate the sesquicentennial of Norwegian immigration to America. He attended this banquet, which was held in the Grand Ballroom of the Olympic Hotel. The front cover illustration shows a newlywed couple from Telemark, Norway, in traditonal costume, and the back cover shows Laplanders from Kautokeino, Norway in their wedding costume.
